Known as The Skin Care Makeup, the products in the Jane Iredale range of mineral cosmetics comprise a blend of natural minerals and pigments pulverised into microscopic flat crystals that form a protective filter on the skin.
The products contain no parabens, pthalates, talc, FD&C colours or petro-chemicals, nor are they tested on animals - the Jane Iredale brand is a strong supporter of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
Refresh PR was appointed by Strawberry International in February 2009 to manage PR for jane iredale The Skin Care Makeup on an ongoing basis across the following focus areas: publicity, trade exchanges, sponsorships, and advertising. Based on the client brief to focus specifically on growing awareness for the brand locally, increased editorial coverage has been prevalent across majority of the mediums targeted, the highest being print.
In just under 12 months, total media exposure resulted in a PR Value of just under R2 million.
Additionally, Refresh PR was commissioned to manage the co-ordination of the official launch event for the opening of the first jane iredale concept store in South Africa.
