MTN Sciencentre

Based at Century City in Cape Town, The MTN Sciencentre is where children, teenagers and adults can experience the fun of science and innovation. Packed with over 300 ‘hands on” displays, this world-class interactive centre is the first of its kind in South Africa and offers a world of edutainment with science and technology.

The MTN Sciencentre operates under the auspices of a Section 21 company, the Interactive Science Foundation (ISF) and is a registered Not for Profit Organisation. The mission of the MTN Sciencentre is to make a hands-on contribution to South Africa’s future and strengthen the science and technology culture in South Africa through interactive methods of teaching.

Last year The MTN Sciencentre played host to National Science Week for the seventh consecutive year and had an exciting interactive programme that was enjoyed by close to 7000 visitors during the first week of August, including learners, teachers, students, academics and families.

SA Music Appreciation and Development School

The SA Music Appreciation and Development School offers therapeutic music and movement programmes – Music for Our Little Ones – for children aged 1 to 6 years. The combined experiences gained by Anna Coetzee, who holds a Bachelor of Music degree, and psychologist Dr. Lydia Dreyer, together with their passion for music and children, led to the establishment of the SA Music Appreciation and Development School, specifically aimed at South African children and the world in which they live.
